Imani Clough-Brown
I’m Imani — a coach, facilitator, and consultant working at the intersection of youth leadership, social impact, and embodied practice. My work is rooted in care, equity and collaboration across generations.
With over a decade of experience in the youth and community sector — and as a social entrepreneur running my youth consultancy Imani Academy & Co (2016–2025) — I’ve supported organisations, communities, and young people to lead meaningful change from the inside out. That journey continues today through a more integrated and personal practice, where I combine strategic insight, somatic coaching, and facilitation to support people and systems in transition.
Through 1:1 coaching, group facilitation and consultancy, I help purpose-driven individuals and organisations and teams move with greater alignment, embodiment and impact. Whether we're working on personal leadership or organisational culture, I hold space for deep reflection, honest conversation, and sustainable transformation.
I’ve trained with The Management Centre (Managing to Change the World), The Somatic School (Body-Oriented Coaching), and I am an ACC ICF-accredited Somatic Coach. I’m a trained Pinpoint Facilitator and I am currently training to be a Three Horizons facilitator — guiding people to explore the present, notice emerging patterns, and shape more just and hopeful futures.
Born and raised in Birmingham, I hold a BA in Youth Justice and an MA in Character Education. I currently work part time at Act Build Change, as Membership Manager and Coaching Lead and I’m a member of the Alliance for Youth Organising with the Civic Power Fund.
At the heart of all my work is a deep belief in the power of lived experience, community, and peer to peer wisdom sharing.
Thank you for being here — whether you're just arriving or have been part of the journey since the beginning.

Imani facilitated a programme I was managing and held the space for the participants so well. This was particularly evident during a session where the founders were expressing dissatisfaction about a workshop someone else had delivered to them.
Imani gave the participants time to reflect and openly discuss their thoughts, whilst also refocusing them on what they could take from the session and making sure their feedback was constructive.
Imani's facilitated session resulted in the participants leaving what could have been a negative session, with some real insights and positive steps they could take forward.
Imani's ability to hold the space, guide the session and adapt as necessary makes her an awesome facilitator.

Having Imani as a coach is something that brought me benefits beyond what I could have imagined. She helped me identify some patterns of behaviors that were not serving me and supported me in creating/integrating practices into my life that have helped me a lot professionally and personally. Her coaching style, which is a lot focused on leading with questions that invite us to reflect deeper on what's already with us, is very focused on our real needs and challenges, which worked beautifully for me. I really liked the somatic coaching tools she used with me, constellation being one of them, because it takes into account what our body is telling us, as well as our mind. I loved being coached by someone who recognises the importance of this balance and the role it plays in our decisions and experiences. Working with Imani will help you find clarity and direction in your professional and personal life, all with great care and holistic support.
