Leah (left), Olivia (middle), and Savannah (right) co-designed and facilitated a leadership development programme for executive-level public sector leaders on the Future Vision Leadership Programme in February 2023, alongside Imani (right). They collaborated on a one-day workshop to invite leaders to reflect on their leadership journeys - past, present, and future. The guiding question they explored throughout the session was "How might adopting the role of a good ancestor become inextricably linked to good business and a thriving planet?"

Our Associates Oliva Agbe (right) and Leah Gowing (left) at Joint Nature Conservation Committees Strategy Launch celebrating Bio diversity day.

As champions for youth voice we were more than happy to support Leah Gowing and Olivia Agbe, Imani Academy & Co Associates, to share a youth voice perspective on our environment, for nature people planet at JNCC's new strategy launch Together For Nature, focusing on turning scientific evidence into action for Nature Recovery!

Leah and Olivia invited attendees to make personal pledges for Nature Recovery, co-hosted a panel for key stakeholders and partners of JNCC and led a guided meditation to reflect on what it means to be a good ancestor; consider what legacy they will leave behind for future generations!

Kind words from our youth participation training participants

Imani delivered a three part youth participation training with our organisation. The sessions covered youth participation from introduction to evaluation and were curated to our needs. Imani also shared multiple useful tools for delivering and facilitating sessions with young people. Overall, the sessions focused on delivering youth participation in a truly inclusive way and I would definitely recommend Imani to any one on the youth participation journey. Thanks!
